Brian Jue is a seasoned professional boasting more than thirty years of experience in prominent leadership roles, including CEO and COO positions in both publicly traded and privately held companies. He has consistently showcased exceptional proficiency in tasks such as sourcing, negotiation, transaction structuring, and successful deal closures. His extensive expertise extends to the realm of capital formation, encompassing private and public efforts, IPOs, APOs, spin-offs, all while thriving in high-pressure work environments. Brian's industry knowledge spans diverse sectors such as technology development, digital media, engineering, e-commerce, Esports, cross-border trade, consumer packaged goods, manufacturing, marketing, real estate, sports, and entertainment.
Presently, Brian assumes the role of a Member at C2C Private Investment Company and serves as the COO at Small Business Development Group, Inc. (SBDG). In his capacity at SBDG, he is responsible for identifying potential acquisition targets, facilitating capital formation, and overseeing the acceleration processes for portfolio holdings. Furthermore, Brian plays a pivotal role within Stony Hill Advisors, Inc., offering essential support for its operations and transactions. He also serves as a Director for the California-based entity of Stony Hill Advisors, known as Stony Hill Advisors California, Inc.
Throughout his career, Brian has held significant leadership roles in various companies, including Irvine America, ProFormance Capital, Inc., and WorldSource. He has a wealth of experience in capital formation and mergers and acquisitions, often stepping into the role of interim CEO for portfolio companies. During his tenure as CEO of WorldSource, he orchestrated technology transfer agreements with NASA to develop consumer products.
Brian's background in technology includes his tenure as the CEO of B Squared Technologies, Inc., a systems integration and engineering firm. Under his leadership, the company established subsidiary ventures to leverage its in-house technical expertise, which encompassed the creation of an early Software as a Service (SaaS) e-commerce auction platform, importing branded computer systems, and developing home automation tools. This strategic approach ultimately contributed to the company's successful IPO in 1998.
Throughout his illustrious career, Brian has cultivated significant connections within the sports and entertainment industries. These connections have translated into opportunities such as broadcast consulting for ESPN and ABC Sports, licensing agreements with MLB and the NFL, ownership of an art publisher, ownership of sports memorabilia galleries, the creation of consumer products featuring iconic figures like Babe Ruth, Marilyn Monroe, Elvis Presley, and John Wayne, and the acquisition and operation of a call center in Minneapolis. Additionally, he has represented celebrities and athletes in various capacities, including marketing, endorsements, public signing appearances, memorabilia, and venture opportunities.
Brian Jue holds a degree in Law and Society from the University of California, Santa Barbara. He has also pursued further education by participating in Executive Education courses at Stanford University.
